I really appreciated the prior reviews as I was looking for a color between burgundy and red - the comments were very helpful with the overall take that it was more on the burgundy, but leaning towards abit of red tone. The color is just as seen in the photo. That was exactly what I was searching for. It is beautiful and I plan to use for the Christmas holidays, Valentine's, and July 4th. I have enjoyed Luminara candles for years - the timer is wonderful and so convenient. This is my first Luminara candle with scent as I didn't know it was a thing. The cinnamon scent is not overpowering at all - my candle will be placed within a lantern on the fireplace.3/7/18 - back to five stars! The seller sent me a replacement candle despite I was past the 30 day return window. I am so super pleased with this seller! Will buy from them again! I love my Luminara candles!!!! Thank you so much!!love them! ****UPDATE*****originally I loved them and gave them 5 stars, but now I notice a big problem! While dusting today I noticed a HUGE crack that runs almost the whole length of one of the candles! It was not there when I unpacked them and placed them where they have been for the past month or more. Never moved nor never dropped them! Of course I'm past the window of return now! I am very upset and frustrated! I love these candles! Now I get to have them right in front of my face with a HUGE crack? I can't help but to wonder when and why this happened!!!! I don't get it! Just a defect in the candle and it just cracked conveniently past the return window? What the heck Luminara? Do you stand by your products or not? Would love to hear from the seller about this....apparently the color burgandy has changed since I last bought this candle, the first one is red, which I bough last year, and this year it really is burgandy. the first one may have been mislabled, I bought it in a store. but they both work perfectly, and I love the reflection off the wall behind the mantle. Looks sooo real!These look absolutely real. I use them for the entire Christmas season. Two D batteries have lasted up to four Christmases, running for about five hours each night. The remote works about ten feet away. And they smell great!The Luminara battery candles are absolutely the best product of this type for your money! We have over a dozen and use them regularlyThis is one of the best flameless candles I've come across. I have several and they are great to use in small areas. Very realistic looking with none of the mess or hazard of fire. The remove is a wonderful feature. I can "light" a candle while I'm still in bed. Very convenient.Currently have this wonderful candle on a holder in our master bedroom bathroom. The timer is set for sleeping hours. It gives such a lovely light to get up with. These candles are SOOOOO expensive elsewhere; and, it is a large one. I recommend it for anyone who wants the soft glow of a candle instead of a night light. Also, I will use it during the Holidays.It did not come with a remote. Not sure if it was supposed to come with one. Candle itself is fine.Love it! It is a bit costly but it is a beautiful item & smells so good and natural! Please consider lowering the price? Thank you!
